Fall, one of my favorite seasons. As the summer ends and classes start, we start heading towards this amazing season, where Halloween and Thanksgiving are the star holidays. There are so many things to do during this time, as the weather starts shifting from warm sunny days to cooler days, and if you live in California, then you’ll also get random heat waves or heavy winds.
There are so many fun activities that you can do during this season, and today’s goal is to give you a list of fun things that you can do either with friends or family, or just by yourself. The firsts things that come to mind are pumpkin patches, corn mazes, and apple picking. I personally think that these activities are more fun when done with friends, but don’t let that stop you from enjoying some alone time and getting into the fall vibes.
There’s also the possibility of having a bonfire with friends and roast some marshmallows. This is a perfect activity to do with your friends on a not so warm night. You can share horror stories and scare your friends, even when the spooky season is over. Afterwards you can go inside and do a movie night or watch the ultimate Fall TV show of all time: Gilmore Girls.
Another activity that you can do during the fall is hiking. As I mentioned before, the weather during the fall is versatile enough and there are some days where a hike is just ideal. Walking is a great way to take a break, breathe, and let your mind rest, and school can get a little too stressful therefore a walk could be beneficial not only for your physical health but for your mental health too.
One of the fun things about this activity is that you can do it with friends or by yourself. If you go by yourself, make sure to let someone know your route in case of emergency. Not a requirement, but strongly recommended, is to make sure you are listening to pretty bomb music, like my fall playlist for example.
And last but not least, my favorite fall activity: stepping on leaves and hearing them crunch. You can double dip and crunch some leaves when you go on your hike. That is such a satisfying feeling and sound. I personally love to see how many leaves I can step on my way to class; it keeps the walk interesting.
