Egg Prices Soar

Have you noticed in the past several months that every time you go to the grocery store egg prices continue to rise? You're not crazy! Due to due to a recurrent Avian Flu, combined with an increase of demand over the holiday season, egg prices have not only risen but inventory keeps dropping. USDA says "At the end of December, 43 million egg-laying hens died from the disease, according to the USDA. On a monthly average, egg inventories dropped 7.5%, according to the department".
